A Little Love for your Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!

 

I hope today is not only a day where you show some love for someone special, but also think a little bit of showing some love to yourself! Being healthy means taking some time each day to get moving, to make smart food choices and sometimes that comes at the cost of losing some time with others. It’s always worth the cost – you’ve gotta take care of yourself before you can be of any use to others! So today, whether or not you have a hot date waiting for you this evening, take a look in the mirror, tell yourself what you love about you, and make a pact to love yourself a little more this year. 

 

Now that the sappy, Valentines love stuff is out of my system, it wouldn’t be V-day without a special treat! This morning I whipped up a batch of cookie dough pancakes (don’t worry…they were healthy!) for my man and we enjoyed them topped with strawberries on my favorite plates for a special start to a busy day.
